Neutrophil Membrane Tether Coalescence: A Novel Mechanoadaptive Response to Abrupt Flow Acceleration

Under abrupt flow acceleration, neutrophils exhibit stable adhesion and membrane tether coalescence, dependent on cytoskeletal remodeling. Neutrophils navigating the vasculature encounter regions of abrupt flow acceleration that challenge their adhesive capacity.

Perchloric Acid, an Effective Catalyst for Thermosetting Self‐Crosslinking Hydroxy Acrylic Resins

Perchloric acid is an effective catalyst for the crosslinking of hydroxy acrylate resins. Its action is based on the intermediate formation of alkyl perchloric esters. Transesterification gives volatile alkyl perchlorates that evaporate to give a catalyst‐free resin.
