Residual punching shear capacity of corroded reinforced concrete slabs
Steel reinforcement corrosion is becoming a critical issue due to the amount of old buildings still in operation with a high probability of substantial corrosion in their reinforcements. The strength and serviceability of corroded reinforced concrete (RC) slab is remarkably impacted by corrosion.

Recycled aggregate concrete slab punching shear capacity
Structures, 2020Abstract Punching shear strength of balanced slab-column connections made of two grades of Recycled Aggregate Concrete (RAC) with each grade containing selected volumetric replacement levels (0%, 50% and 100%) of recycled concrete aggregates derived from laboratory waste concrete are reported.

Punching Shear Capacity of Interior SFRC Slab-Column Connections
Journal of Structural Engineering, 2012AbstractThe paper deals with the punching shear behavior and the capacity of interior steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) slab-column connections. In the experimental study, the effect of the amount of fibers on the punching shear resistance and cracking behavior of slabs was investigated on a total of 12 small-scale flat slabs of varying dimensions.

Punching shear capacity of recycled-aggregate concrete slab-column connections
Journal of Building Engineering, 2021Abstract Punching shear behaviour of eighteen balanced Recycled Aggregate Concrete (RAC) scaled slab-column specimens is experimentally investigated and modelled using struts and ties for the following variables: concrete compressive strength (normal-, medium- and high-strength) and coarse recycled aggregate volumetric replacement level (0%, 50%

Enhanced shear punching capacity by the use of post installed concrete screws
Engineering Structures, 2014Abstract In the field of reinforced concrete structures, there is a growing need for structural engineers to develop methods that raise the shear punching capacity of existing flat slabs. Unfortunately, current structural solutions that aim to enhance the shear punching capacity suffer from many technical and economic problems.

Experimental and analytical investigation of punching shear capacity of biaxial voided slabs
Structures, 2019Abstract Biaxial voided slab is an emerging slab system which reduces its self-weight up to 50% in comparison with the conventional reinforced concrete solid slab. The reduction in the concrete volume does not affect its flexural capacity significantly, however, it reduces both one-way and two-way (punching) shear capacity about 40%.
