Monetary and Non-Monetary Punishment in the Voluntary Contributions Mechanism [PDF]
In this paper we replicate and extend the experiment of Fehr and Gaechter (2000) that analyzes the effect of an opportunity to punish others on the level contributions in the Voluntary Contributions Mechanism.

Passive Shape‐Adaptive Fluidic Interface for Enhanced Skin‐Sensor Coupling in Wearable Devices
This study presents a passive fluidic interface for wearable biosensors that adapts to static and dynamic body shape changes to maintain consistent skin contact. Flexible, fluid‐filled pouches redistribute pressure from high‐load areas to regions requiring improved contact, enhancing signal quality and comfort in a compact, low‐energy design for ...

Optofluidic Raman Analysis and Capacity Recovery in Li‐ion Cells
Operando Raman spectroscopy is used to monitor the degradation of commercial Li‐ion cells. Using a microfluidic access port, small amounts of electrolyte are sampled into a hollow‐core optical fibre, where fibre‐enhanced Raman analysis reveals Li+ solvation changes and solvent evolution.

Enhanced Self‐Phase Modulation in Silicon Nitride Waveguides Integrated With 2D MoS2 Films
ABSTRACT On‐chip integration of 2D materials provides a promising route toward next‐generation integrated optical devices with performance beyond existing limits. Here, significantly enhanced spectral broadening induced by self‐phase modulation (SPM) is experimentally demonstrated in silicon nitride (Si3N4) waveguides integrated with 2D monolayer ...

Punishment with Uncertain Outcomes in the Prisoner’s Dilemma [PDF]
This paper experimentally investigates whether risk-averse individuals punish less if the outcome of punishment is uncertain than when it is certain. Our design includes three treatments: Baseline in which the one-shot prisoner’s dilemma game is played ...

Legitimate Punishment, Feedback, and the Enforcement of Cooperation [PDF]
In real life, punishment is often implemented only insofar as punishers are entitled to punish and punishees deserve to be punished. We provide an experimental test for this principle of legitimacy in the framework of a public goods game, by comparing it
