Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Sodium alginate regulates interfacial ion transport and retention in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. The carboxylate‐rich polymeric network forms a dynamic interfacial ion‐diffusion barrier that facilitates ion injection during programming while suppressing ion back‐diffusion, thereby stabilizing the electrochemically doped channel state.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.A new class of photoresponsive liquid‐crystalline (LC) adhesives based on biomineral‐inspired organic/inorganic colloidal hybrids is reported. An Edible Chitosan‐Based Acoustic Sensor for Sound‐Responsive Actuation in Edible Robots
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.This study introduces an edible acoustic sensor for robotic food and edible robotics. Built from a chitosan piezoelectric film between gold electrodes, the sensor enables acoustic communication through ON/OFF keying.
