Indecomposable injective modules of finite Malcev rank over local commutative rings
It is proven that each indecomposable injective module over a valuation domain $R$ is polyserial if and only if each maximal immediate extension $\widehat{R}$ of $R$ is of finite rank over the completion $\widetilde{R}$ of $R$ in the $R$-topology.

Two characterizations of pure injective modules
Let $R$ be a commutative ring with identity and $D$ an $R$-module. It is shown that if $D$ is pure injective, then $D$ is isomorphic to a direct summand of the direct product of a family of finitely embedded modules. As a result, it follows that if $R$ is Noetherian, then $D$ is pure injective if and only if $D$ is isomorphic to a direct summand of the

Micro‐injection laser‐assisted bioprinting enables ultrafast and precise patterning of small endothelial cell spheroids by injecting a highly concentrated single‐cell suspension into GelMA/ColMA hydrogels. In co‐culture with fibroblasts, controlled pre‐vasculogenic network formation is obtained at microscale resolution.

An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.

Pure-injective modules over path algebras
Let \(R\) denote the path algebra of an extended Dynkin graph over some field. The study of the infinite dimensional modules over such rings has been initiated in a profound article by \textit{C. M. Ringel} [Symp. Math. 23, 321-412 (1979; Zbl 0429.16022)].

Gold bipyramids can act as efficient plasmonic nanoheaters, but they often reshape during laser heating. This study shows that oxygen nanobubbles drive oxidative etching and that surface ligands control stability. CTAB‐ and citrate‐coated particles blunt and lose optical performance, whereas polystyrene sulfonate preserves shape and heating by ...

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

Commutative rings whose cotorsion modules are pure-injective
Let R be a ring (not necessarily commutative). A left R-module is said to be cotorsion if Ext 1 R (G, M) = 0 for any flat R-module G. It is well known that each pure-injective left R-module is cotorsion, but the converse does not hold: for instance, if R
