The cone of Betti diagrams of bigraded artinian modules of codimension two
We describe the positive cone generated by bigraded Betti diagrams of artinian modules of codimension two, whose resolutions become pure of a given type when taking total degrees.

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Purely infinite C*-Algebras: Ideal-preserving zero homotopies [PDF]
We show that if A is a separable, nuclear, O_infty-absorbing (or strongly purely infinite) C*-algebra, which is homotopic to zero in an ideal-system preserving way, then A is the inductive limit of C*-algebras of the form M_k(C_0(G,v)), where G is a finite graph (and C_0(G,v) is the algebra of continuous functions on G that vanish at a distinguished ...

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Gaydar and the Fallacy of Decontextualized Measurement
Recent media coverage of studies about "gaydar," the supposed ability to detect another's sexual orientation through visual cues, reveal problems in which the ideals of scientific precision strip the context from intrinsically social phenomena.

A generalization of the Pontryagin-Hill theorems to projective modules over Pr\"ufer domains
Motivated by the Pontryagin-Hill criteria of freeness for abelian groups, we investigate conditions under which unions of ascending chains of projective modules are again projective.

Correspondence between trace ideals and birational extensions with application to the analysis of the Gorenstein property of rings [PDF]
Over an arbitrary commutative ring, correspondences among three sets, the set of trace ideals, the set of stable ideals, and the set of birational extensions of the base ring, are studied.
