COMMERCIALLY PURE TITANIUM GRADE 4
Alloy Digest, 1989Abstract Titanium Development Association commercially pure wrought titanium, Grade 4 is used in equipment where resistance to corrosion in chemical, marine and other industries is required. At a guaranteed 80,000 psi minimum mill annealed tensile strength, titanium Grade 4 is the strongest of the commercially pure grades. This datasheet

COMMERCIALLY PURE TITANIUM GRADE 12
Alloy Digest, 1989Abstract Commercially pure wrought titanium, Grade 12 is used in the chemical industry where conditions are mildly reducing or varying between oxidizing and reducing. It is immune to formic acid, aerated or non-aerated. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, tensile properties, and bend ...

Cavitation phenomenon of commercially pure titanium
Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 2007Abstract Cavitation caused during superplastic straining of a commercially pure titanium alloy under uniaxial test was studied. Tensile tests were conducted with a constant strain rate of 0.01 s −1 at different temperatures. Studies show that commercially pure titanium alloy does not show good superplasticity due to cavitation.

Grain growth kinetics of pure titanium
Scripta Metallurgica et Materialia, 1995Grain growth takes place by diffusion when the temperature is high enough and the time of heat treatment is long enough. This means that the number of grains/unit volume decreases, the size of the grains increases, and both the grain boundary area/unit volume, and the stored energy/unit volume, decrease.

Dynamic mechanical behavior of pure titanium
Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 2004The compressive dynamic mechanical behavior of alpha-titanium with more impurities was carried out using a Split-Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB). A cylindrical specimen was set between the incident and transmitted bars and impacted at high strain rate (similar to10(3) s(-1)) The test revealed significant rate sensitivity of the fracture and linear strain

ATI CORROSION-RESISTANT COMMERCIALLY PURE TITANIUM
Alloy Digest, 2020Abstract ATI corrosion-resistant commercially pure (CP) titanium represents a family of unalloyed (Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4) and palladium alloyed (Grades 7, 11, 16 and 17) CP titanium that is produced as plate, sheet and strip. It is the material of choice for many corrosive chemical environments, including oxidizing chloride solutions ...

Powder injection molding of pure titanium
Rare Metals, 2009An improved wax-based binder was developed for powder injection molding of pure titanium. A critical powder loading of 69 vol.% and a pseudo-plastic flow behavior were obtained by the feedstock based on the binder. The injection molding, debinding, and sintering process were studied.

The preparation of pure titanium iodides
Recueil des Travaux Chimiques des Pays-Bas, 1939AbstractA method is described for preparing the tetra‐, tri‐ and di‐iodides of titanium in a pure condition. The tri‐iodide, when heated above 350° C in a high vacuum, decomposes according to the equationmagnified imageThe di‐iodide, when heated above 480° C in a high vacuum, decomposes according to the equationmagnified imagewhile at the same time ...

Carbonate Apatite-Bearing Pure Titanium Implant
MRS Proceedings, 1999AbstractNew bone formation around implants is one of preferable conditions for the successful implantation. In this study, formable carbonate apatite ceramics were prepared and implanted in cavities (φ 400 μm, depth 400 μm) on the surface of pure titanium implant (ASTMB348-GR2) to enhance new bone formation around the titanium implant.
