Mechanic Model of Push-Out Test of Over-Thick CFST
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014Analyze mechanical behavior of over-thick concrete filled steel tube ( over-thick CFST ) subjected to axial compression and revealed adhesive slip law of steel tube/concrete. Axial symmetry elasticity modeling of the concrete column which is constrained by over-thick steel tube and pushed out under axial compressive load is set up.

Behaviour of perfobond rib shear connectors: push-out tests
Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering, 1992This paper summarizes the results of tests performed on 48 push-out specimens to investigate the feasibility of using perfobond rib type shear connectors in composite beams with ribbed metal decks placed parallel to the steel beams. The perfobond rib shear connector is a flat steel plate containing a number of holes.

Push-out tests on a new shear connector of I-shape
International Journal of Steel Structures, 2013In steel-concrete composite beams, the shear connectors are commonly used to transfer the longitudinal shear forces across the steel-concrete interface. This paper summarizes the results of 24 push-out test specimens with a new type of shear connector called “I-shape connector”.

Behaviour of headed studs in composite beams: push-out tests
Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering, 1988This paper briefly summarizes the results of tests conducted on 18 full-size push-out specimens and 4 pull-out specimens. The objective of the project was to study the behaviour of headed studs in composite beams with ribbed metal decks perpendicular and parallel to the steel beam.

Pull-Out and Push-Out Tests for Rubber-to Metal Adhesion
Rubber Chemistry and Technology, 1989Abstract A study has been carried out of adhesive failure forces for a steel rod embedded in and bonded to a rubber block. Emphasis has been placed on comparing tension (pull-out) and compression (push-out) forces. A fractional contribution to the pull-out force appeared to be significant for rods having a diameter greater than about 0.5 mm in ...

Push-out Tests on Headed Studs in High-Strength Concrete
SP-228: 7th Intl Symposium on the Utilization of High-Strength/High-Performance Concrete, 2005Composite structures made of structural steel and concrete maximize the advantages of the two components, especially, when using high strength materials. The interaction of the two materials is guaranteed by shear connectors. Experimental and numerical investigations at the Institute of Structural Concrete, RWTH Aachen University indicate that headed ...

Measurement of Interface Propertes from Fiber Push-Out Tests
2008The Kerans and Parthasarathy (1991) analysis method is presently applied to flat-probe push-out test data obtained from SiC-reinforced glass matrix composites. Upon removal of the system compliance from the data prior to analysis, the true behavior of the composite was clearly in evidence; several qualitative characterizations accordingly became ...
