PHOTOGRAMMETRIC PROCESSING OF PLANETARY LINEAR PUSHBROOM IMAGES BASED ON APPROXIMATE ORTHOPHOTOS [PDF]
It is still a great challenging task to efficiently produce planetary mapping products from orbital remote sensing images. There are many disadvantages in photogrammetric processing of planetary stereo images, such as lacking ground control information ...

Relative Radiometric Correction of Pushbroom Satellites Using the Yaw Maneuver
Earth-imaging satellites commonly acquire multispectral imagery using linear array detectors formatted as a pushbroom scanner. Landsat 8, a well-known example, uses pushbroom scanning and thus has 73,000 individual detectors.

A Framework for 3D Pushbroom Imaging
Pushbroom cameras produce one-dimensional images of a scene with high resolution at a high frame-rate. As a result, they provide superior data compared to conventional two-dimensional cameras in cases where the scene of interest can be temporally scanned.

Implementation of a UAV–Hyperspectral Pushbroom Imager for Ecological Monitoring [PDF]
Hyperspectral remote sensing provides a wealth of data essential for vegetation studies encompassing a wide range of applications (e.g., species diversity, ecosystem monitoring, etc.). The development and implementation of UAV-based hyperspectral systems have gained popularity over the last few years with novel efforts to demonstrate their operability.

Abstract Martian chloride salt deposits were first identified by Osterloo et al. (2008, https://doi.org/10.1126/science.1150690) and surveyed by Osterloo et al. (2010, https://doi.org/10.1029/2010je003613) primarily using thermal infrared data acquired by the Thermal Emission Imaging System (THEMIS) onboard the 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft.

An Analysis of the Side Slither On-Orbit Calibration Technique Using the DIRSIG Model
Pushbroom-style imaging systems exhibit several advantages over line scanners when used on space-borne platforms as they typically achieve higher signal-to-noise and reduce the need for moving parts. Pushbroom sensors contain thousands of detectors, each
