Operation Limits of Integrated Photo‐Rechargeable Batteries
This study elucidates the operational limitations of integrated photo‐rechargeable batteries. We demonstrate that the photo‐charging process is fundamentally restricted not only by material‐to‐material energy level alignment but also by transient capacitive charge accumulation within the cathode framework.

Photocatalytic Water Splitting on the Lunar Surface: Prospects for In Situ Resource Utilization
Water has been found in craters on the moon nearby locations which are illuminated >80% of the time. Photocatalysis uses energy from sunlight to drive chemical reactions such as water splitting to produce oxygen and hydrogen. It is a scalable technology that requires lighter equipment and utilizes resources available on the moon. ABSTRACT The discovery

Singapore Modules - Optimised PV Modules for the Tropics
AbstractThe sunbelt regions of the globe on either side of the equator represent a vast potential for the generation of photovoltaic (PV) electricity. However, PV modules deployed in tropical regions face a different set of environmental conditions than PV modules deployed in temperate regions where the majority of today's PV markets exist.

Low‐Temperature Gold Deposition Improves CdTe Back Contacts
Cd(Se,Te) samples are cooled during the evaporation of Au back contacts to thermally quench CdTe degradation. Reduced temperature during Au evaporation boosts PV efficiency, open‐circuit voltage, and fill factor. XPS associates these improvements with less chemical perturbation of the CdTe surface during metallization.
