Lifetime Evaluation of PV Inverters considering Panel Degradation Rates and Installation Sites
The PV inverter lifetime is affected by the installed sites related to different solar irradiance and ambient temperature profiles. In fact, the installation site also affects the PV panel degradation rate, and thus the long-term power production.

Metal‐halide perovskite solar cells offer high‐efficiency power for orbital missions but suffer from permanent proton‐induced degradation. This work identifies non‐ionizing energy loss (NIEL) as the primary driver of irreversible failure, inducing atomic displacements and microcracks in the high‐fluence regime. Through energy‐tuned mapping and scalable

Innovative cooling for PV panels: Energy and exergy assessments of water-induced V-shaped channels
Panel temperature is one of the important parameters that influences the output from a solar photovoltaic (PV) panel. Higher panel surface temperature leads to deterioration of the electrical output of the panel.
