Enhancing Photoelectric Conversion Efficiency of Photovoltaic Panel Using Cooled Water by Evaporation [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2017
It has been found a linear progression between the panel temperature and its efficiency. A novel cellulose pad arrangement, which is saturated with water, at back surface of photovoltaic panel for cooling has achieved better results.

Vertical reflector for bifacial PV-panels [PDF]

open access: yes2016 IEEE 43rd Photovoltaic Specialists Conference (PVSC), 2016
Bifacial solar modules offer an interesting price/performance ratio, and much work has been focused on directing the ground albedo to the back of the solar cells. In this work we design and develop a reflector for a vertical bifacial panel, with the objective to optimize the energy harvest for the winter.

Application of adaptive models for the determination of the thermal behaviour of a photovoltaic panel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The use of reliable forecasting models for the PV temperature is necessary for a more correct evaluation of energy and economic performances. Climatic conditions certainly have a remarkable influence on thermo-electric behaviour of the PV panel but the

Investigation of Repurposed Material Utilization for Environmental Protection and Reduction of Overheat Power Losses in PV Panels

open access: yesInternational Journal of Photoenergy, 2019
Constant exposure of a photovoltaic (PV) panel to sunlight causes it to overheat and, consequently, its rated efficiency decreases leading to a drop in its generated power.

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...

Investigating the influence of nanofluid on photovoltaic-thermal systems concerning photovoltaic panel performance

open access: yese-Prime: Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Energy
Solar energy has much promise to replace the planet's finite supply of fossil fuels as it is sustainable and eco-friendly. Photovoltaic (PV) panels are one example of the proper technology that may transform solar energy into electrical energy.

Tumor and germline testing with next generation sequencing in epithelial ovarian cancer: a prospective paired comparison using an 18‐gene panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.
