Mechanical Glass‐Backsheet Photovoltaic Modules Delamination: Toward Materials Recycling
A new technology based on sanding has been developed to collect most of the materials contained in a photovoltaic (PV) module in the form of powders. A pilot line is now operational. This technology is specifically suited for Glass//Backsheet PV panels, which represent today the vast majority of the end of life PV panels.

Efficient water electrolysis in NaBr electrolyte is achieved using TiO2 nanotube supports decorated with Ru nanoparticles. A cooperative “job‐sharing” effect between the TiO2 proton‐storage support that provides protons to the Ru catalyst enhances hydrogen evolution, minimizes Ru demand and polarization losses, and delivers stable performance ...

Economic Viability of Photovoltaic Systems Providing Frequency Containment Reserve
This article investigates the feasibility of photovoltaic (PV) systems providing frequency containment reserve (FCR) in the Netherlands. The economic analysis demonstrates that a PV plant can profitably participate in FCR without battery storage by maintaining an active power reserve.

This study proposes a method to increase the value of solar power in balancing markets by managing prediction errors. The approach models prediction uncertainties and quantifies reserve requirements based on a probabilistic model. This enables the more reliable participation of photovoltaic plants in balancing markets across multiple sites, especially ...

Copper Contact for Perovskite Solar Cells: Properties, Interfaces, and Scalable Integration
Copper electrodes, as low‐cost, scalable contacts for perovskite solar cells, offer several advantages over precious metals such as Au and Ag, including performance, cost, deposition methods, and interfacial engineering. Copper (Cu) electrodes are increasingly considered practical, sustainable alternatives to noble‐metal contacts in perovskite solar ...

Cadmium and Zinc‐Doped p‐type Sb2Se3 Single Crystals and Solar Cells
Cd and Zn were assessed as candidate p‐type dopants in Sb2Se3 single crystals in concentrations between 1016‐1020 cm−3. Both are effective in inducing p‐type conductivity, however Cd doped crystals exhibit lower resistivity across a wider range of dopant levels.
