Meningovascular Inflammation in Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy‐Related Cortical Superficial Siderosis
ABSTRACT The role of inflammation in cortical superficial siderosis (cSS), a marker of cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) linked to high hemorrhage risk, is unclear. We examined 15 patients with cSS using 3 T post‐contrast vessel wall MRI (VWI) and CSF analysis.

Thermal performance of a passive solar office building in Portugal [PDF]
This paper presents the thermal performance of a Passive Solar Office Building in Portugal in winter and summer 2006 and 2007. This Building, called Solar XXI, pretends to be an example of passive design both for heating and cooling. It contains a direct

Electrical Conductivities of Conductors, Semiconductors, and Their Mixtures at Elevated Temperatures
This article presents a comprehensive review of temperature‐dependent electrical conductivity data for multiple material classes at elevated temperatures, highlighting a persistent conductivity gap between metals and semiconductors in the range of 102$\left(10\right)^{2}$– 107$\left(10\right)^{7}$ S/m. Metal–ceramic irregular metamaterials are proposed

A Grid-Supporting Photovoltaic System Implemented by a VSG with Energy Storage
Conventional photovoltaic (PV) systems interfaced by grid-connected inverters fail to support the grid and participate in frequency regulation. Furthermore, reduced system inertia as a result of the integration of conventional PV systems may lead to an ...

A multicriteria analysis of photovoltaic systems: Energetic, environmental, and economic assessments [PDF]
The development of photovoltaic (PV) energy has led to rising efficiencies, better reliability, and falling prices. A multicriteria analysis (MCA) of PV systems is proposed in this paper in order to evaluate the sustainability of alternative projects ...

The study explores structural and magnetic properties of one of the most recent topological quantum materials (MnBi2Te4). The Mn‐poor structure leads to stacking faults (quintuple layer ‐ QL of Bi2Te3 formation instead of a septuple layer ‐ SL of MnBi2Te4), resulting in a coexistence between weak antiferromagnetism and ferromagnetism.
