Spatial ecology and habitat selection of translocated European bison in the Romanian Carpathians
Abstract Large herbivores play a critical role in maintaining ecosystem structure and function, yet their decline has disrupted ecological processes across much of the world. Species reintroductions aim to restore these dynamics, but how animals adapt to novel environments remains a key knowledge gap. European bison (Bison bonasus) are keystone species

ABSTRACT Background and Aim Nowadays, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery has become a common method for treating coronary artery diseases. This surgery requires a long post‐operative length of stay (PLOS) in the hospital. The purpose of this study was to systematically review the factors affecting PLOS in patients undergoing CABG surgery using

This study found that preoperative skeletal muscle mass (measured by LSMI) strongly predicts long‐term dietary outcomes after complex hypopharyngeal cancer reconstruction. An LSMI cutoff value of 42.82 was established, revealing that patients with low muscle mass had a significantly 10‐fold higher risk of requiring a restricted or texture‐modified diet

A heterogeneous III‐V/SiN platform for lasers at 800 nm is realized using the micro‐transfer printing method. Efficient GaAs gain sections are directly butt‐coupled to SiN waveguides, enabling continuous‐wave and mode‐locked extended‐cavity lasers. The mode‐locked lasers generate highly stable pulse trains with repetition rates up to 9.2 GHz and a ...
