Internal fields in PT/PVDF-TrFE 0-3 composites

ISAF 2000. Proceedings of the 2000 12th IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics (IEEE Cat. No.00CH37076), 2000
Composites of ferroelectrics have a promising potential for applications, as it is possible to obtain new properties by combining two different ferroelectric materials. The spontaneous polarization of lead titanate (PT) is about an order of magnitude higher than that of vinylidenefluoride-trifluoroethylene copolymer (PVDF-TrFE).

Vibration energy harvesting using electrospun nanofibrous PVdF-TrFE

2016 IEEE International Conference on Dielectrics (ICD), 2016
This work is focused on the study of the electromechanical response of fibrous materials produced by means of electrospinning. Such structures are considered an emerging technology for energy harvesting. In particular, PVdF-TrFe co-polymer nanofibers were electrospun and subjected to mechanical vibrations produced by an eccentric shaft.
