Abstract INTRODUCTION Polygenic risk scores (PRSs) for Alzheimer's disease (AD) capture an individual's genetic susceptibility to AD. Although thoroughly studied in older populations, there exists a notable gap in comprehensively exploring the association of AD PRS with early brain development.

This work proposes a high‐fidelity, simulation‐driven control framework for robust grid integration of hybrid PV–wind systems using a modular, hierarchical multi‐loop architecture with adaptive decision logic. The framework coordinates power, DC‐link voltage, and grid currents under fast load and generation changes, enabling safe exploration of extreme

Off‐Grid Solar Systems: An Experimental Work and Systematic Techno‐Economic Analysis
In the study mentioned above, experimental monitoring and economic evaluation of two off‐grid PV systems were conducted using a low‐cost data logger. The results suggest that basic DC systems are economically feasible compared to grid power, but that AC systems require further cost‐cutting to achieve financial viability.

Time‐Varying Brain Functional Reconfiguration Patterns Associated With Fatigue in Multiple Sclerosis
Fatigue in people with multiple sclerosis has been associated with more unstable and dispersed patterns of brain network reconfiguration, particularly within the limbic network. These findings suggest that inefficient and energetically demanding time‐varying communication among brain regions may contribute to the subjective experience of fatigue ...

Remote control and monitoring of a hybrid power system [PDF]
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 90-92).Increasingly, South Africa is developing a need for grid-independent power systems. Many options exist already in the form of diesel generators, solar panels and wind generators.

Comparison of Three Space Vector PWM Methods for a Three-Level Inverter with a Permanent Magnet Machine Load [PDF]
Much work exists on multilevel space vector pulse width modulation (PWM) to drive induction machines, in which the rotor currents are induced by stator rotating field effects.

Harmonic Stability Study for Wind Power Plants (WPPs) [PDF]
The renewable energy sources (RESs) integration into power grid (PG) have increased enormously in recent years. The power generating units (PGUs) are connected to the grid network with the support of power electronics (PEs) converters, specifically in ...
