In the first section of this chapter, I discuss protocols, limitations and weaknesses, best practices, and the possibilities of pXRF analysis of glass. Characterization of New Zealand obsidian using PXRF

In total archaeologists have recognized 27 named locations from which obsidian can be obtained scattered across 4 geological source regions.
