A catalogue of Indian Pyraloidea (Lepidoptera)
Zootaxa, 2022We catalogue 1,695 Indian Pyraloidea species in 509 genera. Of these, Pyralidae comprises 518 species in 182 genera, which represents 8.35% of the global Pyralidae diversity of 6,197 species. Crambidae are represented by 1,177 species in 327 genera, accounting for 11.29% of the global Crambidae diversity of 10,418 species.

A preliminary list of the Pyraloid moths (Lepidoptera: Pyraloidea) of Kyrgyzstan
Zootaxa, 2022A preliminary list of the pyraloid moths of Kyrgyzstan is provided. In total, 264 species are mentioned for this country, among them 117 listed by literature data and 146 species recorded in current paper for the first time. Another 97 species are known from the neighboring territories and most probably are also present in Kyrgyzstan.

Abstract The mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) is an important topic for comparative and evolutionary genomics, as well as phylogenetic and population genetics. However, there are limited data regarding the mitochondrial genome available of Pyraloidea, one of the largest superfamilies in Lepidoptera. In this report, we present the complete mitogenome

The checklist of Indian spilomelinae (Lepidoptera: Pyraloidea: Crambidae)
Journal of Entomological Research, 2021AbstractA checklist, in a systematic sequence, was prepared for the species of Spilomelinae occurring in India. As per the current checklist prepared, 370 species under 120 genera were documented. The report accounted for 9.05% of species and 36.69% of genera from India as compared to global record.

The checklist of Indian Glaphyriinae (Lepidoptera: Pyraloidea: Crambidae)
Journal of Entomological Research, 2021AbstractThe subfamily Glaphyriinae was established by Forbes in 1923 with type genus Glaphyria Hübner, 1823. It is one of the major subfamilies of Pyraloidea, represents 452 described species under 75 genera all over the world. In the current paper, a checklist was prepared for the species of Glaphyriinae occurring in India in a systematic sequence. As

On the morphology of the gnathos in the Pyraloidea (Lepidoptera)
Insect Systematics & Evolution, 1997AbstractThe homologous use of the term gnathos according to Klots is analysed in the Pyraloidea. A structure of tegumental origin erroneously believed to be the gnathos by various authors in the Crambidae, here named the pseudognathos, is described. The occurrence of these structures in the different subfamilies of Pyralidae and Crambidae is discussed.
