Abstract1.

Microbial Degradation of Pyridine and Pyridine Derivatives
2019Pyridine derivatives belong to an important class of aromatic compounds that occur largely as a result of human activities, although they are not necessarily xenobiotic compounds. Pyridines can also be derivatized to form a wide variety of xenobiotic compounds ranging from drugs to pesticides. Analogs to phenolic compounds, pyridines exhibit properties

Pyridines and pyridine derivatives from vinyl allenes and imines
Tetrahedron, 2012Abstract The Lewis acid mediated reaction of acyclic vinyl allenes and imines, yielding tetrahydropyridines has been carried out. Only one cycloadduct was observed in each case, and thus, the reaction progressed in all cases with total regio-, face- and endo / exo selectivities.

Ultra‐Violet absorption spectra of pyridine and pyridine derivatives
Recueil des Travaux Chimiques des Pays-Bas, 1937AbstractThe ultra‐violet absorption spectra of pyridine and 27 of its derivatives have been quantitatively measured. The possible errors have been calculated in every case. Some general remarks concerning the data and their interpretation are given. The pyridine derivatives investigated comprise six mono‐ and nine dihalogenated pyridines, the three mono

Several new pyridine, pyridinethione, pyrazole[3,4-b]-pyridine, pyrido [1,2-a]-1,3-thiazine and pyrido[1,2-a]pyridine thione derivatives have be synthesised via the reactions of 2-methyl-3-ethoxycarbonyl-4-phenyl-5-cyano-1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-pyridine-6-one 2 with different reagents.

Pyridine derivatives of isoindoline
2010Isoindoline and its derivatives have attracted great attention from medicinal and synthetic organic chemists due to their wide range of biological activities. They are present in many natural and synthetic biologically active compounds. For example, staurosporine, isolated from bacteria Streptomices staurosporeus, acts as protein kinase C inhibitor ...
