2-Aminopyridinium 2,4-dinitrophenolate
The asymmetric unit of the title organic salt, C5H7N2+·C6H3N2O5−, comprises two 2-aminopyridinium cations and two 2,4-dinitrophenolate anions. The cations are protonated at the pyridine N atoms, while the anions are deprotonated at hydroxyl O atoms.

Reactivity of Halo(pyridinium)carbenes
The reactivity of chloro- and fluoro(N-methyl-3-pyridinium)carbenes was examined by laser flash photolysis, where the halo(pyridinium)carbenes formed ylides with pyridine, acetonitrile, and acetone.

Pyridinium dichlorophosphinomethylides
AbstractSeven new pyridinium dichlorophosphinomethylides 2 have been obtained from dichlorophosphinylation of the pyridinium methylides generated in situ. 2 give 1,3‐bis(alkoxycarbonyl)‐2‐phosphaindolizines 4 through 1,5‐electrocyclization of the intermediate, bis(pyridinium ylidyl)phosphenium chloride 3 which is generated either from ...

Ionic Hydrogenation of Pyridinium and Azetidinium Cations [PDF]
Research described herein seeks to study the reactivity of CpRu(P-P)H with pyridinium and azetidinium cations. For the former, we wish to determine if a previously established methodology for the regioselective reduction of a particular pyridinium ...
