Research Progress of Room‐Temperature Phosphorescence Materials Based on Reversible Bonding Interactions

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 9, September 2026.
This review summarizes the latest progress of RTP materials with self‐healing and shape–memory functions, in which reversible bonding interactions are the key points. With the careful discussions of the typical strategies and representative works, the intrinsic relationship between dynamic bonding interactions and RTP property is well revealed. Finally,

Antioxidant Activities of Pentacyclic Triterpenes From Melipona beecheii Propolis and Their Semisynthetic Derivatives

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
M. beecheii propolis contains eleven identified PTs, including germanicone and glutinol, reported for the first time in this material. Antioxidant assays reveal Fe(III)‐reducing activity at an effective concentrations lower than DPPH radical‐scavenging activity.

On the Acidity Characterization of Pristine and Zinc‐Modified H‐ZSM‐5 Zeolites: Comparison of Adsorption‐Based Characterization Methods

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 18, 28 September 2026.
In the acidity characterization of zeolites by isopropylamine temperature‐programmed desorption (IPAm‐TPD), zinc altered the reaction pathways of isopropylamine. When examined against the quantitative results of other adsorption‐based acidity characterization methods, the IPAm‐TPD results still appeared representative of acidic properties, when the ...

Metal–Ligand Cooperative Control of Reactivity in a Porphyrin Manganese(IV)–Oxo–Phenoxyl Radical Complex for Water Activation

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 9, September 2026.
We report a manganese porphyrin flanked with an imidazole–phenol pair. Under oxidizing conditions, we generate a manganese(IV)‐oxo and a spatially separated phenoxyl radical. We found that the Mn(IV)═O–PhO• can be the siege for the water oxidation. The Oxygen Evolving Complex (OEC) is a Mn4Ca cluster at the heart of Photosystem II that catalyzes the ...

Bioinspired Design and Synthesis of Polyphenolic Star‐Like and Hyperbranched Polyester Models

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 33, 1 September 2026.
Gallotannin‐inspired star‐like and hyperbranched aromatic polyesters were synthesized from D‐glucose and ABn‐type phenolic acid monomers, such as protocatechuic acid. This bioinspired approach afforded polyphenolic polymeric nanoparticles able to encapsulate hydrophobic dyes, opening new perspectives for biobased encapsulation and delivery systems ...
