Synthesis and studies on pyridinium pentafluorozirconate and pyridinium oxotetrafluoroniobate

open access: yesJournal of Fluorine Chemistry, 1994
Abstract Pyridinium pentafluorozirconate, (C5H5NH)ZrF5, and pyridinium oxotetrafluoroniobate, (C5H5NH)NbOF4, have been synthesised by the reaction of pyridinium poly(hydrogen fluoride), PPHF, with ZrOCl2 and Nb2O5, respectively. These new complexes have been characterised by chemical analysis, thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction and infrared spectra.

Pyridinium dihydrogenmonothiophosphate

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 2000
By reaction of pyridine dithiomonometaphosphoryl fluoride with ethyldiphenylphosphine in the presence of traces of water, we isolated crystals of the title compound, (I). In the structure of this salt, two kinds of hydrogen bonds were detected. They link N-H (part of the cation), as well as one O-H group (part of the anion), to the phosphoryl O atom of

2-(Hydroxymethyl)pyridinium dihydrogenphosphate

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 2003
The title compound, C(6)H(8)NO(+).H(2)PO(4)(-), consists of 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridinium and dihydrogenphosphate ions. The dihydrogenphosphate moieties are linked into chains by pairs of P-O-H.O-P hydrogen bonds. The 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridinium cations are connected to the dihydrogenphosphate units by O-H.O and N-H.O hydrogen bonds.

Synthesis of pyridinium heterocyclic ylides. Degradation of the pyridinium group

Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, 1981
AbstractThe synthesis of pyridinium‐quinolone chlorides and ylides, a pyridinium‐methylquinazolone ylide, 9‐pyridinium acridine chloride, and their behaviour by treatment with boiling aniline are described.
