Enantioselective dissipation of pyriproxyfen in soil under fertilizers use

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2019
An enantioselective method of pyriproxyfen enantiomers in fertilized soil was established on Lux Cellulose-3 column using ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The effects of urea, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer on the dissipation of pyriproxyfen in soil were ...

The response of pyriproxyfen-resistant and susceptibleBemisia tabaciGenn (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae) to pyriproxyfen and fenoxycarb alone and in combination with piperonyl butoxide

open access: yesPesticide Science, 1999
Pyriproxyfen was effective against susceptible Bemisia tabaci eggs at a LC of 0.003 mg litre and against nymphs at 0.02 mg litre. In comparison, eggs of a laboratory selected, pyriproxyfen-resistant B tabaci strain, originating in an Israeli greenhouse, exhibited 6500-fold resistance and nymphs exhibited 1100-fold resistance.
