Geometry of mixed states for a q-bit and the quantum Fisher information tensor [PDF]
After a review of the pure state case, we discuss from a geometrical point of view the meaning of the quantum Fisher metric in the case of mixed states for a two-level system, i.e. for a q-bit, by examining the structure of the fiber bundle of states, whose base space can be identified with a co-adjoint orbit of the unitary group.

Polar-Coded OFDM With Index Modulation
In this paper, we apply polar codes to a modified version of OFDM systems with index modulation which is called OFDM with in-phase/quadrature index modulation (OFDM-I/Q-IM).

Quantum algorithms and approximating polynomials for composed functions with shared inputs [PDF]
We give new quantum algorithms for evaluating composed functions whose inputs may be shared between bottom-level gates. Let $f$ be an $m$-bit Boolean function and consider an $n$-bit function $F$ obtained by applying $f$ to conjunctions of possibly ...

Wavelets as q-bits and q-bit states as wavelets
In this short report it is argued that by the use of wavelets formalism it is possible to describe the q-bit state. The wavelet formalism address the real-valued physical signals, for example, obtained during typical physical measurements.

Scaling up and down of 3-D floating-point data in quantum computation
In the past few decades, quantum computation has become increasingly attractive due to its remarkable performance. Quantum image scaling is considered a common geometric transformation in quantum image processing, however, the quantum floating-point data
