Q‐factor measurements on planar nitride cavities

open access: yesphysica status solidi c, 2010
AbstractTo enable the study of cavity quantum electro‐dynamical effects in nitride systems, it is essential to be able to fabricate high quality cavity structures that exhibit large Q‐values of the order of several thousands. A promising candidate for such a realisation is based around the micro‐pillar distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) cavity.

Performance evaluation of damping filters of the third order

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника, 2015
Expressions for an assessment of efficiency of the damping filters of the third order in power networks are received. On the basis of these expressions graphic dependences at various parameters of filters are given.

The Process $\gamma^*_L$ + $q \to (q \overline q g)$ + q: Real corrections to the virtual photon impact factor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We calculate, for the longitudinally polarized virtual photon, the cross section of the process \gamma^{*}+q\to (q\bar{q}g)+q at high energies with a large rapidity gap between the fragmentation system q\bar{q}g and the other quark. This process provides

Artificial intelligence system for technical diagnostics of photomasks

open access: yesТехнологія та конструювання в електронній апаратурі, 2012
The developed artificial intelligence system has a high level of noise immunity, so its inclusion in the hardware and software for technical diagnostics of photomasks will reduce the hardware requirements for its execution, and thereby reduce the cost of

Gravitational complexity factor of anisotropic polytropes in coincident gauge $$f(\mathbb {Q})$$ f ( Q ) gravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
This work presents a novel characterization of complexity for gravitationally bound astrophysical configurations arising from two factors: (i) inhomogeneity and (ii) anisotropy in the complex arrangement of stellar structures. For this purpose, we employ

Coupling mechanism of a loop‐type ground radiation antenna

open access: yesETRI Journal, 2019
The coupling mechanism of a loop‐type ground radiation antenna is investigated in this paper. We use the equivalent circuit model of the antenna and a full‐wave simulation to explain the coupling mechanism of the antenna.

The K-meson form factor and charge radius: linking low-energy data to future Jefferson Laboratory measurements

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
Starting from a successful model of the $$\pi $$ π -meson electromagnetic form factor, we calculate a similar form factor, $$F_{K}(Q^{2})$$ F K ( Q 2 ) , of the charged K meson for a wide range of the momentum transfer squared, $$Q^{2}$$ Q 2 .

Unveiling the tradeoff between device scale and surface nonidealities for an optimized quality factor at room temperature in 2D MoS2 nanomechanical resonators

open access: yesMicrosystems & Nanoengineering
A high quality (Q) factor is essential for enhancing the performance of resonant nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS). NEMS resonators based on two-dimensional (2D) materials such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) have high frequency tunability, large ...
