The syntax of wh-movement in multiple (true and echo) questions. A Q-particle approach
This dissertation studies typological distinctions among wh-fronting languages with respect to syntax of multiple questions. The main goal of this study is twofold: to provide a unified syntactic account of different patterns of wh-movement in true multiple wh-questions in general, and in echo wh-questions in particular.

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Wigner crystals for a planar, equimolar binary mixture of classical, charged particles
We have investigated the ground state configurations of an equimolar, binary mixture of classical charged particles (with nominal charges Q1 and Q2) that condensate on a neutralizing plane.

Dry Friction in the Frenkel-Kontorova-Tomlinson Model: Dynamical Properties
Wearless friction is investigated in a simple mechanical model called Frenkel-Kontorova-Tomlinson model. We have introduced this model in [Phys. Rev. B, Vol. 53, 7539 (1996)] where the static friction has already been considered.

A spin group (SG)‐based mechanism is proposed to realize a single pair of Weyl points. PT‐symmetric nodal lines (NLs) persist under T‐breaking, protected by the combination of SG and P symmetry. When considering spin‐orbit coupling, the SG‐protected NL will split into Weyl points, which will also induce anomalous transport phenomena arising from ...

The Tsallis Distribution at the LHC
The Tsallis distribution has been used widely in high energy physics to describe the transverse momentum distributions of particles. In this note we show that the use of a thermodynamically consistent form of this distribution leads to a description of ...

A Minimalist Approach to the Syntactic Position of the Q-Particle ‘aya’ in Persian
The present paper aims to determine the position of the Q-particle ‘aya’ in Persian within the Minimalist framework (e.g. Chomsky, 1995, 2001). To this end, first, evidence is provided against the idea that the Q-particle ‘aya’ is in the head of the Complementizer Phrase (CP) (Lotfi, 2000; 2003).

Synchrotron Radiation for Quantum Technology
Materials and interfaces underpin quantum technologies, with synchrotron and FEL methods key to understanding and optimizing them. Advances span superconducting and semiconducting qubits, 2D materials, and topological systems, where strain, defects, and interfaces govern performance.

We present compact analytic formulas that describe the decay of colorless particles to both $$q \bar{q}$$ qq¯ and gg final states through next-to-next-to-leading order in perturbative QCD in the context of the nested soft-collinear subtraction scheme. In
