PLANETARY CANDIDATES OBSERVED BY KEPLER. VII. THE FIRST FULLY UNIFORM CATALOG BASED ON THE ENTIRE 48-MONTH DATA SET (Q1–Q17 DR24) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We present the seventh Kepler planet candidate (PC) catalog, which is the first catalog to be based on the entire, uniformly processed 48-month Kepler data set.

A 390-GHz Outphasing Transmitter in 28-nm CMOS

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2020
This article presents a 390-GHz outphasing transmitter in 28-nm CMOS. Generating higher order modulation schemes at terahertz (THz) frequencies is very challenging due to the essential nonlinear elements needed to generate signals above Fmax.

Protocol to quantify the rate of RNA polymerase II elongation with MS2/MCP- and PP7/PCP-based live-imaging systems in early Drosophila embryos

open access: yesSTAR Protocols
Summary: The MS2-PP7 two-color live-imaging system provides insights into the spatiotemporal dynamics of nascent transcripts at tagged loci. Here, we present a protocol to quantitatively measure the rate of RNA polymerase II elongation for each actively ...

Electrochemical Formation of BiVO4/BiPO4 Photoanodes for Enhanced Selectivity toward H2O2 Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In acidic KPi, V dissolves from the BiVO4 lattice, while adsorbed phosphate reacts with the electrode under an external bias, forming a BiPO4 surface layer. This BiPO4 layer exhibits stronger bicarbonate adsorption, redirecting the water oxidation pathway toward two‐electron H2O2 production.

Protocol for generating three-dimensional induced early ameloblasts using serum-free media and growth factors

open access: yesSTAR Protocols
Summary: Adult humans cannot regenerate the enamel-forming cell type, ameloblasts. Hence, human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-derived ameloblasts are valuable for investigating tooth development and regeneration.

Protocol for the cryopreservation of Cryptosporidium isolates using enteroids

open access: yesSTAR Protocols
Summary: A major bottleneck in the progress of Cryptosporidium research is the lack of accessible cryopreservation of Cryptosporidium oocysts. Here, we present a protocol for the cryopreservation of Cryptosporidium isolates using enteroids.

Probing the Dynamics and Structural Topology of the Reconstituted Human KCNQ1 Voltage Sensor Domain (Q1-VSD) in Lipid Bilayers Using Electron Paramagnetic Resonance Spectroscopy.

open access: yesBiochemistry, 2019
KCNQ1 (Kv7.1 or KvLQT1) is a potassium ion channel protein found in the heart, ear, and other tissues. In complex with the KCNE1 accessory protein, it plays a role during the repolarization phase of the cardiac action potential.
