Construction of high-girth QC-LDPC codes
2008 5th International Symposium on Turbo Codes and Related Topics, 2008We describe a hill-climbing algorithm that constructs high-girth quasi-cyclic low-density parity check (QC-LDPC) codes. Given a desired girth, the algorithm can find QC-LDPC codes of shorter block-length in much less time compared with the previously proposed ldquoguess-and-testrdquo algorithm.

Construction of QC-LDPC Codes on Combinatorial Sequences
2013 5th International Conference on Intelligent Human-Machine Systems and Cybernetics, 2013Based on the properties of pell sequences, hanoi sequences and lucas sequences, three methods are proposed to construct new families of quasi cyclic low density parity check codes. Furthermore, we will prove that the designed QC-LDPC codes have no circles shorter than six. The performance of the codes is also investigated.

QC-LDPC Code-Based Cryptosystems
2014In this chapter, the use of QC-LDPC codes in public key cryptosystems inspired to the McEliece and Niederreiter systems is studied. Both the case in which the private and the public code are permutation equivalent and that in which such an equivalence is absent are considered.

Efficient Decoding of QC-LDPC Codes Using GPUs
2011In this work, we propose an efficient quasi-cyclic LDPC (QCLDPC) decoder simulatorwhich runs on graphics processing units(GPUs). We optimize the data structures of the messages used in the decoding process such that both the read and write processes can be performed in a highly parallel manner by the GPUs.

Construction of Girth-8 QC-LDPC Codes Free of Small Trapping Sets
IEEE Communications Letters, 2019In this letter, we propose a new technique to design quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check (QC-LDPC) codes with girth 8 and variable node degrees 3 and 4.

Joint Design of QC‐LDPC Codes for Coded Relay Cooperation
Chinese Journal of Electronics, 2016This paper proposes an effective method to jointly design girth-4 cycle-free Quasi-cyclic (QC) Low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes for multi-relay cooperation in a Rayleigh fading channel, where the joint iterative decoding by Min-sum algorithm (MSA) based on the introduced joint Tanner graph is also presented at the destination. Theoretical analysis

Performance Analysis of Practical QC-LDPC Codes: From DVB-S2 to ATSC 3.0
IEEE transactions on broadcasting, 2019In this paper, a new analysis method is introduced to predict the gap between Shannon limit and successful decoding signal-to-noise ratio threshold (SNR loss) of practical quasi-cyclic low-density parity check (QC-LDPC) codes.

Improved PEG construction of large girth QC-LDPC codes
2016 9th International Symposium on Turbo Codes and Iterative Information Processing (ISTC), 2016In this paper, we present an improvement of the PEG algorithm for constructing quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check (QC-LDPC) codes with large girth. We introduce the concept of PEG-undetectable cycles on the computation tree in the PEG algorithm for QC-LDPC codes and give a predictive method to avoid these undetected cycles. The aim is to select only
