Joint Design of QC‐LDPC Codes for Coded Relay Cooperation
Chinese Journal of Electronics, 2016This paper proposes an effective method to jointly design girth-4 cycle-free Quasi-cyclic (QC) Low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes for multi-relay cooperation in a Rayleigh fading channel, where the joint iterative decoding by Min-sum algorithm (MSA) based on the introduced joint Tanner graph is also presented at the destination. Theoretical analysis

Flexible decoder architectures for irregular QC-LDPC codes
2008 51st Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2008A flexible and power-efficient decoder architecture employing the layered-decoding message-passing algorithm and the low-complexity offset-based Min-Sum check algorithm for irregular QC-LDPC codes is presented in this paper. The architecture is verified by implementing a programmable decoder chip compliant with the QC-LDPC codes in Mobile WiMAX ...

McEliece Cryptosystem: Reducing the Key Size with QC-LDPC codes
International Workshop on the Design of Reliable Communication Networks, 2023Post-quantum cryptography is a growing area since Shor showed that a quantum computer with enough qubits could be used to break the most widely used public-key cryptographic protocols today, such as RSA or those based on the discrete logarithm problem ...

A QC-LDPC Code Based Digital Signature Algorithm
2018 International Conference on Networking and Network Applications (NaNA), 2018CFS digital signature algorithm, which proposed in 2001, is the most important code based digital signature algorithm and can resist the known attack of quantum algorithms. But the efficiency of CFS is very low because of the extremely low signing speed and the large public key size. In this paper, a variation of CFS algorithm is presented.

Dual-Diagonal QC-LDPC Codes Free of Small Cycles From GCD Framework via Negative Coefficients
IEEE Communications LettersA novel class of dual-diagonal (DD) quasi-cyclic (QC) low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes with girth eight is proposed. For the exponent matrix of such a DD-QC-LDPC code, the left sub-matrix is explicitly generated via new formulae which are motivated ...

Low Error Floor QC-LDPC Codes Construction Using Modified Cole's Trapping Sets Enumerating
2023 25th International Conference on Digital Signal Processing and its Applications (DSPA), 2023In order to count the number of trapping sets (TS), we changed Cole's Importance Sampling (IS) approach, which led to a message-passing decoder problem. Several concepts have been combined to suggest improvements to Cole's IS: utilizing short cycles and ...

Low Complexity Decoding Algorithm of QC-LDPC Code
2010 IEEE Asia-Pacific Services Computing Conference, 2010Through the research on the decoding algorithm of low-density parity-check (LDPC) code, a low complexity decoding algorithm suitable for quasi-cyclic LDPC (QC-LDPC) code is proposed in this paper. The algorithm adopts layered decoding (LD), and the sub-minimum is replaced by the sum of an optimal correction factor and the minimum during the process of ...

Modified CC-PEG Algorithm for Protograph-Based QC-LDPC Codes Over Non-Uniform Channel
IEEE AccessIn this paper, we propose the modified cycle-concentrating progressive-edge-growth (CC-PEG) algorithm for lifting protograph-based quasi-cyclic low-density parity-check (QC-LDPC) codes over the non-uniform additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel. By

Block-MDS QC-LDPC Codes with Application to High-Dimensional Quantum Key Distribution
Information Theory WorkshopHigh-dimensional quantum key distribution (QKD) is a popular protocol that provides information theoretically secure keys to multiple parties. Two important steps of QKD are 1) the information reconciliation (IR) step, where parties reconcile mismatches ...
