Constraints on the variation of the QCD interaction scale ΛQCD

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Laboratory and astrophysical tests of “constant variation” have so far concentrated on the dimensionless fine-structure constant α and on the electron or quark mass ratios X e,q = m e,q /ΛQCD, treating the QCD scale ΛQCD as unchangeable.

Two-baryon systems from HAL QCD method and the mirage in the temporal correlation of the direct method

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
Both direct and HAL QCD methods are currently used to study the hadron interactions in lattice QCD. In the direct method, the eigen-energy of two-particle is measured from the temporal correlation. Due to the contamination of excited states, however, the

QCD and Jets

open access: yesActa Physica Polonica B, 2013
We address aspects of jet physics at the Large Hadron Collider, focusing on features of recent jet measurements which challenge the theory. We discuss examples illustrating the role of QCD parton showers, nonperturbative corrections, soft multi-gluon emission.

The QCD spectrum

open access: yesNuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 1995
Recent results in light hadron spectroscopy are reviewed. Attention is given to the requirements of precision determinations in lattice gauge theory. Different methods for extracting the running coupling constant $ _S$ are compared. Some recent results in determining the nature of the interaction between static quarks are also discussed.

Chiral separation effect from holographic QCD

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We analyze the chiral separation effect (CSE) in QCD by using the gauge/gravity duality. In QCD, this effect arises from a combination of chiral anomalies and the axial U(1) anomaly.
