Measuring the Quantum State of Dark Matter
It is demonstrated how the time series obtained from searches for ultralight bosonic dark matter, such as the axion, can be used to determine whether it is in a coherent or incoherent quantum state. Abstract It is shown how the time series obtained from searches for ultralight bosonic dark matter (DM), such as the axion, can be used to determine ...

Nuclear p ⊥-broadening of an energetic parton pair
We revisit the transverse momentum broadening of a fast parton pair crossing a nuclear medium, putting emphasis on the pair global color state, for any number of colors N and within the eikonal limit for parton propagation and the Gaussian approximation ...

The inclusive cross sections of W+, W − , and Z boson production from 34 different measurements performed in proton-(anti)proton collisions at center-of-mass energies s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 1.8–13 TeV, are compared to perturbative QCD calculations at next-to-

Flavour Phenomenology from Lattice QCD [PDF]
Abstract I review recent results and prospects for improvement in calculations of hadronic matrix elements relevant to quark flavour phenomenology. I will focus on key quantities for CKM unitarity triangle analyses and for the study of discrepancies between experiment and SM predictions for some flavour observables.

A primer on axion physics, emphasizing an intuitive understanding of why the axion solves the strong CP problem. Abstract The canonical axion potential is reviewed, with an emphasis on the field theory underlying radial and angular modes of complex scalar fields.

Higgs‐induced screening mechanisms in scalar‐tensor theories
Abstract We consider the theory of a light conformally coupled scalar field, that is, one that is coupled directly to the Ricci scalar of the gravitational sector. This theory can be written equivalently as one of a light scalar that is coupled to the Standard Model of particle physics with a particular combination of Higgs‐portal couplings.

We consider the double-soft limit of QCD amplitudes with two massive quarks in a back-to-back kinematics accompanied by two soft partons. We integrate analytically the respective double-soft eikonal functions over the phase space of the two soft partons.

Recent results on nucleon sigma terms in lattice QCD [PDF]
It has proven a significant challenge to experiment and phenomenology to extract precise values of the nucleon sigma terms. This difficulty opens the window for lattice QCD simulations to lead the field in resolving this aspect of nucleon structure. Here

Role of Time‐Varying Magnetic Field on QGP Equation of State
The phase diagram of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and its associated thermodynamic properties of quark‐gluon plasma (QGP) are studied in the presence of time‐dependent magnetic field. The study plays a pivotal role in the field of cosmology, astrophysics, and heavy‐ion collisions. In order to explore the structure of quark‐gluon plasma to deal with the
