ABSTRACT The menopause transition is marked by symptoms predominantly attributed to declining oestrogen levels. Approximately 80% of women experience associated symptoms, and 25% experience severe symptoms. The commonest are vasomotor symptoms (VMS), collectively referring to hot flushes and/or night sweats.

Heart failure medication to prevent cancer therapy–related cardiac dysfunction: A narrative review

Homologous recombination mutants cause differing lethality between h− and h+ Schizosaccharomyces pombe strains due to mat1 heterochromatin

Homologous recombination (HR) in Schizosaccharomyces pombe is essential when mating‐type switching–induced double‐strand breaks (DSBs) form at the mat1 locus. In h90 and h− strains, efficient mat1 DSB formation renders HR indispensable unless suppressors block these breaks.

ABSTRACT Introduction The GTH‐AHA‐EMI study showed that emicizumab reduces bleeding in patients with acquired haemophilia A (AHA). However, 22 clinically relevant new bleeds (CRNB) occurred in 14 of the 47 study patients, most of which required haemostatic treatment.
