A novel S‐scheme heterojunction of CdS quantum dots on CeO2 nanocubes was designed to enhance charge separation and oxygen activation for efficient photocatalytic ethylene removal. The optimized composite achieved complete C2H4 degradation within 4 min under low‐intensity visible light, with a rate constant of 1.72 min−1. Mechanistic analysis confirmed

Absorption and photoluminescence of PbS QDs in glasses
Optical properties of PbS quantum dots (QDs) precipitated inside the oxide glass matrix were investigated. Photoluminescence (PL) from the PbS QDs showed peak wavelengths located at 1170-1680 nm with widths of 150-550 nm. Radii of QDs in glasses were 2.3-

This study presents a novel quantum dot electrophoretic display (QDEPD), which combines electro‐controlled reflection and optically‐triggered emission to achieve efficient multi‐modal switching within a single pixel. By incorporating multi‐component nanostructures, the system enhances functional integration and multi‐modal response capabilities.

QDs do not increase cell-cell fusion.
A) HEK-293T cells expressing tdTomato were labelled with QDs and co-cultured with KSC-GFP cells. Flow cytometric analysis showed that QDs did not increase cell-cell fusion over a 3 day time course.

Self-assembling mechanism of Si-QDs on thermally grown SiO2 [PDF]
The self-assembling formation of Si quantum dots (Si-QDs) on as-grown SiO2 layers was shown by controlling the early stages of low-pressure chemical vapor deposition of SiH4.

A generalization of the QD algorithm
AbstractA new algorithm for the rational Hermite interpolation table is described. This algorithm reduces to the qd algorithm of Rutishauser in the Padé case. Moreover it shares several properties with Rutishauser's algorithm.
