Analytical Characterization of Quantum Dot Enhancement Films in Commercial Displays

open access: yesHelvetica Chimica Acta, EarlyView.
Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) are increasingly used in displays, yet many compositions are regulated due to hazardous metal content. Their accurate identification and assessment are therefore essential. Here, a multimodal analytical workflow centered on LA‐ICP‐MS enables spatially resolved identification and classification of QDs in commercial quantum ...

Intense Light Treatment of Inkjet‐Printed Metal Oxide Hole Injection Layer for Quantum Dot Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesJournal of the Society for Information Display, EarlyView.
An intense pulsed light (IPL) process enables low‐temperature activation of inkjet‐printed MoOX hole injection layers while preserving the hydrophobicity of pixel defining layers (PDLs). This approach overcomes process incompatibility in multilayer inkjet‐printed QLEDs, achieving uniform thin‐film morphology and stable pixel patterning.
