Resolving the Axial Mass Anomaly in neutrino Scattering
We present a parametrization of the observed enhancement in the transverse electron quasielastic (QE) response function for nucleons bound in carbon as a function of the square of the four momentum transfer (Q2) in terms of a correction to the magnetic ...

Terahertz Volume Plasmon‐Polariton Modulation in All‐Dielectric Hyperbolic Metamaterials
THz volume plasmon‐polariton (VPP) propagation through plasmon‐based hyperbolic metamaterials, made of alternating layers of doped and undoped III‐V semiconductors. Abstract The development of plasmonics and related applications in the terahertz range faces limitations due to the intrinsic high electron density of the standard metals.

Exclusion Statistics of Composite Fermions
The exclusion statistics parameter of composite fermions is determined as an odd number ($\alpha=3$, 5, ...). The statistics of composite fermion excitations at $\nu= \frac{n}{2pn+1}$ is rederived as $\alpha_{qe}^{CF}=1+\frac{2p}{2pn+1}$, $\alpha_{qh ...

We are interested in algorithms that manipulate mathematical expressions in mathematically meaningful ways. Expressions are syntactic, but most logics do not allow one to discuss syntax. ${\rm CTT}_{\rm qe}$ is a version of Church's type theory that includes quotation and evaluation operators, akin to quote and eval in the Lisp programming language ...

This study investigates high‐efficiency double perovskite active layer (DPAL) structures using MAPbI3 and MASnI3 to surpass the Shockley‐Queisser limit in single‐junction perovskite solar cells. SCAPS‐1D simulations show that the V2O5‐assisted DPAL device achieves 34.14% power conversion efficiency with improved JSC, VOC, and FF.

Streptococcus anginosus extracellular vesicles (SA‐EVs) accumulate in gastric tissue, disrupt epithelial tight junctions, and induce gastritis characterized by neutrophil infiltration and elevated cytokines (TNF‐α, IL‐6, IL‐17A). Proteomics identifies TMPC and FBP62 as key SA‐EVs virulence factors; their genetic deletion attenuates inflammation ...

To QE or Not to QE? The Japanese Experience
This paper studies the effect of a series of quantitative easing initiatives belonging to the Bank of Japan on Central and Eastern European sovereign CDSs. Using daily data for the 2005 – 2013 period and considering 23 announcements of QE initiatives we build an econometric event study approach in order to compute and investigate the abnormal returns ...

Atomistic Understanding of 2D Monatomic Phase‐Change Material for Non‐Volatile Optical Applications
Antimony is a promising monatomic phase‐change material. Scaling down the film thickness is necessary to prolong the amorphous‐state lifetime, but it alters the optical properties. The combined computational and experimental study shows that, as thickness decreases, the extinction coefficient and optical contrast are reduced in the near‐infrared ...

Two microwave‐assisted synthetic methods, specifically a one‐pot and a seeded‐growth approach, are developed within a hydroalcoholic solution for the growth of single‐phase ternary WxTi1‐xO2 and heterostructured TiO2‐WO3‐x colloidal nanocrystals. Both types of nanocrystals show significant photocatalytic activity for 4‐methoxybenzyl alcohol oxidation ...
