Rapid 5G/6G evolution demands cross‐layer resource management to address congestion, latency, and reliability in multi‐hop wireless networks. This paper proposes a TOHRP–LBCA framework using DSA and congestion−/topology−/interference‐aware routing and channel allocation, yielding throughput gains, lower latency, improved packet delivery, and higher ...

Framework for Task Offloading in O‐RAN Architecture for Heterogeneous Computing Applications
This work proposes a task offloading framework in ORAN architecture, optimizing computational assignment across user devices, edge cloud, and regional cloud. By efficiently selecting processing nodes and allocating computational and radio resources, it minimizes delay while accommodating diverse latency requirements for gold, silver, and bronze‐tier ...

A Queue‐Aware Extension to BBR for Low‐Latency Transport in Video Applications
This work addresses a long‐standing challenge in congestion control for real‐time video delivery: how to reliably maintain low latency in highly dynamic networks without sacrificing throughput. We explicitly model the excess queue incurred during bandwidth probing as a “queue debt” and then systematically “repay” this debt in subsequent phases by ...

This article presents an adaptive unmanned aerial vehicle video streaming framework in which captured video is encoded at multiple quality levels and protected using Luby transform (LT) coding before transmission over a wireless channel to a base station. At the receiver, LT decoding and latency monitoring are used to assess delivery performance, while

Mobile QoE prediction in the field
Abstract Quality of experience (QoE) models quantify the relationship between user experience and network quality of service. With the exception of a few studies, most research on QoE has been conducted in laboratory conditions. Therefore, in order to validate and develop QoE models for the wild, researchers should carry out large scale field studies.

Adaptive Bitrate Streaming With Video Quality Enhancement
We bring the new factor, DVQE sensitivity, into the bitrate selection for the QoE improvement of adaptive video streaming. We develop DSABR, which selects chunk bitrate with high DVQE sensitivity to improve video quality as well as reduce bandwidth usage, thereby achieving efficient performance in bandwidth‐constrained network environments.
