Bogoliubov theory of interacting bosons: new insights from an old problem
In a gas of $N$ interacting bosons, the Hamiltonian $H_c$, obtained by dropping all the interaction terms between free bosons with moment $\hbar\mathbf{k}\ne\mathbf{0}$, is diagonalized exactly.

Abstract The food enzyme 4‐α‐glucanotransferase (1,4‐α‐d‐glucan:1,4‐α‐d‐glucan 4‐α‐d‐glycosyltransferase; EC2.4.1.25) is produced with the genetically modified Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain MAS by Coöperatie Koninklijke Avebe U.A. The production strain contains multiple copies of known antimicrobial resistance genes.

Transcendence order over Qp in Cp
AbstractLet (K, ∥ · ∥) be a valued transcendence degree 1 extension of Qp. An element x ∈ K transcendental over Qp is said to have order ≤a (a > 0) if there exists Cx > 0 such that every polynomial P(X) ∈ Qp [X] satisfies −log;(P(x))⩽ −log∥P∥+cx(deg P)a when ∥ · ∥ is the Gauss norm on Qp[X]. No x ∈ Cp can have order ≤α if α < 1 but we construct some x ∈

Superconducting MoSi nanowires
We have fabricated disordered superconducting nanowires of molybdenium silicide. A molybdenium nanowire is first deposited on top of silicon, and the alloy is formed by rapid thermal annealing.

Abstract The food enzyme phospholipase A1 (phosphatidylcholine 1‐acylhydrolase; EC 3.1.1.32) is produced with the genetically modified Trichoderma reesei strain DP‐Nzk98 by Genencor International B.V. The genetic modifications do not give rise to safety concerns. The food enzyme is free from viable cells of the production organism and its DNA. The food

Intrinsic quasiparticle's spin and fractional quantum Hall effect on Riemann surfaces
We derive the braid relations of the charged anyons interacting with a magnetic field on Riemann surfaces. The braid relations are used to calculate the quasiparticle's spin in the fractional quantum Hall states on Riemann surfaces.

Quantum phase slip interference device based on superconducting nanowire
We propose a transistor-like circuit including two serially connected segments of a narrow superconducting nanowire joint by a wider segment with a capacitively coupled gate in between.

Detecting Non-Abelian Anyons by Charging Spectroscopy
Observation of non-Abelian statistics for the e/4 quasiparticles in the \nu=5/2 fractional quantum Hall state remains an outstanding experimental problem.

Some Aspects of q- and qp-Boson Calculus
A set of compatible formulas for the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients of the quantum algebra $U_{q}({\rm su}_2)$ is given in this paper. These formulas are $q$-deformations of known formulas, as for instance: Wigner, van der Waerden, and Racah formulas. They serve as starting points for deriving various realizations of the unit tensor of $U_{q}({\rm su}_2)$
