QRS fragmentation is superior to QRS duration in predicting mortality in adults with tetralogy of Fallot [PDF]
Background Although QRS duration >180 ms has prognostic value in adults with tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), its sensitivity to predict mortality is low. Fragmented QRS complexes, a simple measurement on ECG, are related to myocardial fibrosis and dysfunction in patients with TOF.

Effect of acute ventricular pressure changes on QRS duration
The effect of acute changes in ventricular pressure is examined on the QRS duration to clarify the mechanism of ventricular pressure-related arrhythmogenesis. Ventricular pressure was changed acutely by arterial transfusion-bleeding into an open-air ventricular pressure reservoir that was either off or on a metaraminol intravenous drip.

Prognostic significance of QRS duration and morphology. [PDF]
QRS duration and morphology, evaluated via a standard 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), represent an opportunity to derive useful prognostic information regarding the risk of subsequent cardiac events or therapeutic outcomes. Prolonged QRS duration, and the presence of intraventricular conduction abnormalities, usually indicate the presence of changes ...

Maximizing QRS duration reduction in contemporary cardiac resynchronization therapy is feasible and shorter QRS duration is associated with better clinical outcome. [PDF]
Background We aimed to evaluate if optimization by maximizing QRS duration (QRSd) reduction is feasible in an all-comer cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) population, and if reduced, QRSd is associated with a better clinical outcome.

Predictive value of QRS complex duration in patients with chronic heart failure and atrial fibrillation: retrospective study [PDF]
Aim. To study of the features of the clinical course and prognosis in patients with chronic heart failure with low ejection fraction (HFrEF) and atrial fibrillation (AF) depending on the width of the QRS complex. Materials and methods.

The variability of automated QRS duration measurement [PDF]
Previous studies have demonstrated substantial variability in manual assessment of QRS complex duration (QRSd). Disagreements in QRSd measurements were also found in several automated algorithms tested on digitized electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings. The aim of our study was to investigate the variability of automated QRSd measurements performed by two
