Double Quadratic Buck Converter
2013 Brazilian Power Electronics Conference, 2013In this paper, a new non-insulated DC-DC converter called Double Quadratic Buck Converter is proposed. This new converter has the advantages of high gain ratio near half range of duty cycle compared to the conventional Buck Converter. The stress voltage over the switches is reduced to half of the value compared to the conventional Quadratic Buck ...

Modeling of an Interleaved Quadratic Buck Converter
Memorias del Congreso Nacional de Control Automático, 2022This paper presents the modeling of a Quadratic Buck Converter with interleaved function, operating in continuous conduction mode. The structure of the proposed converter presents better functional aspects with respect to other Quadratic Buck converters reported in the literature.

Mathematical modeling of a quadratic boost converter
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2023DC-DC converters are nonlinear Time Variant (TV) systems. This paper uses the State Space Averaging (SSA) to extract a Linear Time Invariant (LTI) model for a Quadratic Boost Converter (QBC). MATLAB is used to do the SSA mathematical machinery. Obtained dynamic model is compared with the one generated by a commercial software.

A New High Performance Step-Down Quadratic Converter
2021 IEEE 19th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (PEMC), 2021A novel buck quadratic converter with one active switch and three diodes is presented in this paper. This new step-down topology features a static conversion ratio that makes it suitable in applications requiring an output voltage slightly lower than the

A new quadratic buck converter
2014 11th International Symposium on Electronics and Telecommunications (ISETC), 2014A new type of quadratic buck converter is presented, analyzed, simulated and experimented in the continuous conduction mode (CCM), the usual way that converters are used. Because of the static conversion ratio dependency on the duty cycle the new converter is ideal for applications where only a small voltage step-down is needed.

One‐cycle controlled quadratic buck converter
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2018SummaryThe quadratic DC‐DC converter can broaden the voltage conversion ratio, which meets the requirements of wide input voltage. However, large‐scale variation of input voltage puts forward harsh requirements on ability to resist input disturbance of control strategy.

High efficiency quadratic boost converter
2012 Twenty-Seventh Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2012This paper presents a new soft-switched pulse-width modulated (PWM) quadratic boost converter which is suitable for applications with a wide fluctuating DC input voltage range, e.g. photovoltaic and fuel cells systems. The active switches are turned-on under zero-current and zero-voltage switching (ZC-ZVS) and turned-off with zero-voltage switching ...
