Solvability of the G_2 Integrable System
It is shown that the 3-body trigonometric G_2 integrable system is exactly-solvable. If the configuration space is parametrized by certain symmetric functions of the coordinates then, for arbitrary values of the coupling constants, the Hamiltonian can be

Cermets (60 vol.% AISI 316L stainless steel, 40 vol.% recycled MgO), intended for use in aluminum electrolysis, were pre‐oxidized in three furnaces with different heating technologies and subjected to a cryolite corrosion test. The different atmospheres influenced the formation of oxide layers, which in turn affected corrosion resistance and ...

Delayed Stochastic Linear-Quadratic Control Problem and Related Applications
We discuss a quadratic criterion optimal control problem for stochastic linear system with delay in both state and control variables. This problem will lead to a kind of generalized forward-backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs) with Itô’s ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

Analysis of a quadratic system obtained from a scalar third order differential equation
In this article, we study the nonlinear dynamics of a quadratic system in the three dimensional space which can be obtained from a scalar third order differential equation.

On solving a linear control problem
The problem of a linear regulator is considered. There is a system of linear differential equations with a quadratic control quality criterion. The method of dynamic programming is applied to the solution of the considered linear problem.

ON HEROD'S QUADRATIC DIFFERENTIAL SYSTEM WITH INFINITELY MANY UNKNOWNS
The following quadratic differential system with infinitely many unknowns is studied \[ \dot x_n+x_n=\frac1{n+1}\sum^n_{k=0}x_kx_{n-k},\quad n=0,1,2,\dots;\;x_0(0)=1;\;x_1(0)=0;\;x_k(0)=c_k,\;k\geq 2.\tag{1} \] The author studies the question: If the sequence \(\{c_k\}\) is in \(\ell^2\), is the same true for the sequence \(\{x_k(0)\}\) for each \(t ...

Photoswitching Conduction in Framework Materials
This mini‐review summarizes recent advances in state‐of‐the‐art proton and electron conduction in framework materials that can be remotely and reversibly switched on and off by light. It discusses the various photoswitching conduction mechanisms and the strategies employed to enhance photoswitched conductivity.
