Unramified quaternion extensions of quadratic number fields [PDF]

Classical results of Rédei, Reichardt and Scholz show that unramified cyclic quartic extensions of quadratic number fields k correspond to certain factorizations of its discriminant disc k. In this paper we extend their results to unramified quaternion extensions of k which are normal over ℚ, and show how to construct them explicitly.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

Probing Cellular Activity Via Charge‐Sensitive Quantum Nanoprobes

A new quantum sensing modality detects shifts in zero‐field splitting caused by charge rearrangement with diamond nanocrystals in response to cellular activity.
