On Gras conjecture for imaginary quadratic fields
In this paper we extend methods of Rubin to prove the Gras conjecture for abelian extensions of a given imaginary quadratic field k and prime numbers p which divide the number of roots of unity in k.Comment: accepted for publication in Canadian ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

NLO gravitational quartic-in-spin interaction
In this paper we derive for the first time the complete gravitational quartic-in-spin interaction of generic compact binaries at the next-to-leading order in the post-Newtonian (PN) expansion.

Self-adjointness of Dirac operators via Hardy-Dirac inequalities
Distinguished selfadjoint extensions of Dirac operators are constructed for a class of potentials including Coulombic ones up to the critical case, $-|x|^{-1}$. The method uses Hardy-Dirac inequalities and quadratic form techniques.Comment: PACS 03.65.P,

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Brief communication: Multiscaled solitary waves [PDF]
It is analytically shown how competing nonlinearities yield multiscaled structures for internal solitary waves in stratified shallow fluids. These solitary waves only exist for large amplitudes beyond the limit of applicability of the Korteweg–de ...

METABOLIC INVOLUTIONS AND QUADRATIC RADICAL EXTENSIONS [PDF]
In this paper we characterize involutions that become metabolic over a quadratic field extension attained by adjoining a square root.

This paper proposes two projector‐based Hopfield neural network (HNN) estimators for online, constrained parameter estimation under time‐varying data, additive disturbances, and slowly drifting physical parameters. The first is a constraint‐aware HNN that enforces linear equalities and inequalities (via slack neurons) and continuously tracks the ...

Applying Fixed Point Techniques to Stability Problems in Intuitionistic Fuzzy Banach Spaces
In this paper we investigate Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of certain nonlinear functional equations. Considerations of such stabilities in different branches of mathematics have been very extensive.

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.
