ON THE SOLUTION AND STABILITY OF THE QUADRATIC TYPE FUNCTIONAL EQUATIONS [PDF]
Summary: We prove the solution and stability of the quadratic type functional equations with two variables \[ 4f(\frac{x-2y}{2})+f(x)+2f(y)=8f(\frac{x-y}{2})+f(2y) \] and \[ f(x-2y) + f(x)+2f(y)=2f(x-y)+f(2y). \]

Polymer‐based drug delivery systems can effectively overcome the limitations of free drugs in terms of solubility, stability, and plasma half‐life, yet their development has traditionally relied on time‐consuming trial‐and‐error approaches. This review highlights recent advances in applying molecular simulation to the design of polymer‐based drug ...

THz‐Driven Coherent Phonon Fingerprints of Hidden Symmetry Breaking in 2D Layered Hybrid Perovskites
Intense THz pulses are employed to drive coherent phonons in 2D Ruddlesden‐Popper hybrid metal‐halide perovskites (HOIPs) from the (PEA)2(MA)n‐1PbnI3n+1 family, revealing mode‐selective spectroscopic signatures of inversion symmetry breaking in those nominally centrosymmetric materials. These findings provide a handle to decode nonlinear phonon driving

Orthogonal Stability of an Additive-Quadratic Functional Equation
Using the fixed point method and using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of an orthogonally additive-quadratic functional equation in orthogonality spaces. (2010) Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 39B55; 47H10; 39B52; 46H25.

Some generalization of the quadratic and Wilson’s functional equation [PDF]
Let \(X\) be a linear space over the field \(\mathbb{K} \in \{\mathbb{R}, \mathbb{C}\}\), \((G,+)\) be an abelian group, let \(K\) be a finite abelian subgroup of the automorphism group of \(G\) and let \(L:= card K\). All solutions \(f, g, h: G \to X\) and \(\varphi: G \to \mathbb{K}\) of the functional equation \[ \sum_{\lambda \in K} f(x + \lambda y)

Néel Tensor Torque in Polycrystalline Antiferromagnets
This work introduces a Néel tensor torque based on a rank‐two symmetric tensor capturing spin correlations in a polycrystalline antiferromagnet. It shows the Néel tensor can be shaped and reshaped through the spin‐orbit torque (SOT) technique, enabling field‐free SOT switching with a specific polarity of the adjacent ferromagnet. This discovery opens a

On global attractivity of solutions of a functional-integral equation
We prove an existence theorem for a quadratic functional-integral equation of mixed type. The functional-integral equation studied below contains as special cases numerous integral equations encountered in nonlinear analysis.

Colossal Cryogenic Electro‐Optic Response Through Metastability in Strained BaTiO3 Thin Films
Utilizing the thermodynamic theory of optical properties, a colossal cryogenic electro‐optic response in BaTiO3 thin films is designed and demonstrated by stabilizing a low symmetry metastable monoclinic phase via epitaxial strain tuning with an electro‐optic response reaching ≈2516 pm V−1 at 5 K. This approach represents a new paradigm for engineering

The system of mixed type additive-quadratic equations and approximations
In this article, we study the structure of a multiple variable mapping. Indeed, we reduce the system of several mixed additive-quadratic equations defining a multivariable mapping to obtain a single functional equation, say, the multimixed additive ...

Stability for the Mixed Type of Quartic and Quadratic Functional Equations
We establish the general solutions of the following mixed type of quartic and quadratic functional equation: f(2x+y)+f(2x-y)=4f(x+y)+4f(x-y)+2f(2x)-8f(x)-6f(y).
