Dhage Iteration Method for Generalized Quadratic Functional Integral Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2015
In this paper we prove the existence as well as approximations of the solutions for a certain nonlinear generalized quadratic functional integral equation.

Existence of monotonic $L_\varphi$-solutions for quadratic Volterra functional-integral equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2015
We study the quadratic integral equation in the space of Orlicz space $E_{\varphi}$ in the most important case when $\varphi$ satisfies the $\Delta_2$-condition.

On a class of Urysohn–Stieltjes quadratic integral equations and their applications

open access: yesJournal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2000
We investigate a class of nonlinear quadratic integral equation of Urysohn–Stieltjes type. Such a class contains a number of classical nonlinear quadratic integral equations such as the Chandrasekhar quadratic integral equation. We consider the solvability of the equations in question in the space of continuous functions under very general assumptions.

QUADRATIC SPLINE SUBDOMAIN METHOD FOR VOLTERRA INTEGRAL EQUATIONS

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2005
In our work we consider the step‐by‐step and nonlocal subdomain methods with quadratic splines. We prove that the first method is unstable. In the case of nonlocal method we replaced the first derivative condition by a not‐a‐knot boundary condition at the other end of the interval of integration. As a result, we get stability of this method.

A fixed-point type result for some non-differentiable Fredholm integral equations

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis
In this paper, we present a new fixed-point result to draw conclusions about the existence and uniqueness of the solution for a nonlinear Fredholm integral equation of the second kind with non-differentiable Nemytskii operator.

Continuous Dependence of the Solutions of Nonlinear Integral Quadratic Volterra Equation on the Parameter

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2015
We prove results on the existence and continuous dependence of solutions of a nonlinear quadratic integral Volterra equation on a parameter. This dependence is investigated in terms of Hausdorff distance. The considerations are placed in the Banach space

Solution of a dual integral equation arising in the contact problems of elasticity theory with the full Fourier series as the right-hand side

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
A class of dual integral equations is analyzed which arises in solution of a wide range of plane and antiplane contact problems of elasticity theory for a half-plane with functionally graded coating.

The nonlocal problem for a non-stationary third order composite type equation with general boundary condition

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2020
We consider a nonlocal boundary value problem for non-stationary composite type equation of the third order. The values of function and its derivatives up to the second order on the boundary are given as a linear combination.

Existence of positive solutions for a nonlinear quadratic integral equation

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2019
In this article, we study the existence of positive solutions for the nonlinear quadratic integral equation $$ x(t)=g(t,x(t))\int_{-\infty}^{t}a(t,t-s)f(s,x(s))ds,\quad t\in\mathbb{R}.

Fourier spectral methods for numerical solving the problem of boundary control of the linear wave equation

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2017
In this paper, a Fourier spectral method is used to reduce the optimal boundary control problem for a two-dimensional wave equation to a countable number of control problems for a one-dimensional wave equation which are transformed to the optimal control
