Gearshift Control in Engagement Process of Dual-Motor Coaxial Propulsion System for Electric Bus

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Considering single-motor drive system cannot meet the requirements of high-performance electric buses for Beijing Winter Olympics, a dual-motor coaxial propulsion system based on single planet gear set is developed.

Quadratic Dynamical Systems and Algebras

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 1995
It was observed by \textit{L. Markus} [Ann. Math. Stud. 45, 185-213 (1960; Zbl 0119.298)] that one can assign to every differential equation \(\dot x = Q(x)\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) with homogeneous quadratic \(Q\) a commutative, nonassociative algebra whose product is defined by \(xy = {1\over 2} (Q(x + y) - Q(x) - Q(y))\).

The Quadratic-Quadratic Regulator Problem: Approximating feedback controls for quadratic-in-state nonlinear systems [PDF]

open access: yes2020 American Control Conference (ACC), 2020
Feedback control problems involving autonomous quadratic systems are prevalent, yet there are only a limited number of software tools available for approximating their solution due to the complexity of the problem. This paper represents a step forward in the special case where both the state equation and the control costs are quadratic.

Fundamental response in the vibration control of buildings subject to seismic excitation with ATMD

open access: yesSelecciones Matemáticas, 2023
The linear quadratic regulator for vibration systems subject to seismic excitations is discussed in his own physical newtonian space as a second-order linear differential system with matrix coefficients.

Optimized fuzzy fractional-order linear quadratic tracking control for a nonlinear system

open access: yesResults in Control and Optimization, 2023
In this paper, a novel fuzzy fractional-order Linear Quadratic Tracking (LQT) controller optimized by a Multi-Objective gray Wolf Algorithm (MOGWA) is designed for a 6 Degree-Of-Freedom (DOF) quadcopter flying system.

Phase portraits of separable quadratic systems and a bibliographical survey on quadratic systems

open access: yesExpositiones Mathematicae, 2021
Although planar quadratic differential systems and their applications have been studied in more than one thousand papers, we still have no complete understanding of these systems. In this paper we have two objectives. First we provide a brief bibliographical survey on the main results about quadratic systems. Here we do not consider the applications of

Genetic algorithm–based varying parameter linear quadratic regulator control for four-wheel independent steering vehicle

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2015
From the perspective of vehicle dynamics, the four-wheel independent steering vehicle dynamics stability control method is studied, and a four-wheel independent steering varying parameter linear quadratic regulator control system is proposed with the ...

Explicitly solvable systems of two autonomous first-order Ordinary Differential Equations with homogeneous quadratic right-hand sides [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics, 2021
After tersely reviewing the various meanings that can be given to the property of a system of nonlinear ODEs to be solvable, we identify a special case of the system of two first-order ODEs with homogeneous quadratic right-hand sides which is explicitly ...

Solubility of Systems of Quadratic Forms [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 1997
We derive an upper bound for the least number of variables needed to guarantee that a system of t quadratic forms (t>=2) over a field F has a nontrivial zero. In particular, if F is a local field, then 2t^2+3 variables insure the existence of a nontrivial zero (2t^2+1 if t is even), while if F=Q_p with p>=11, then 2t^2-2t+5 variables suffice (2t ...

Alternative Theorems for Quadratic Inequality Systems and Global Quadratic Optimization [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Optimization, 2009
We establish alternative theorems for quadratic inequality systems. Consequently, we obtain Lagrange multiplier characterizations of global optimality for classes of nonconvex quadratic optimization problems. We present a generalization of Dine's theorem to a system of two homogeneous quadratic functions with a regular cone.
