Quadrature Oscillator Realization Based on DDCC+

2020 28th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2020
In this work, a new DDCC+ based mixed-mode quadrature oscillator (QO) topology is proposed. The proposed QO circuit consists of three DDCC+s, two floating resistors, two grounded resistors and two grounded capacitors. When compared to the other DDCC based QOs in literature, the proposed DDCC+ based QO circuit in this work possesses the advantages of ...

Evolution of Oscillation in a Quadrature Oscillator

2011 24th Internatioal Conference on VLSI Design, 2011
The growth of oscillation in a quadrature oscillator that employs phase shifters in the coupling-path between a pair of LC-loaded negative resistance cores, is analyzed. Such an oscillator is known to have two stable modes of oscillation. Under a noise-initiated startup from an unstable initial condition, quasiharmonic assumption and the Method of ...

A New Quadrature LC-Oscillator

2007 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2007
A new circuit topology for quadrature signal generation is presented. In the proposed circuit two identical negative-resistance oscillators are coupled to each other via capacitors in such a way that quadrature signals are generated. An analysis of the linearized model of the circuit is presented.

A Magnetically Tuned Quadrature Oscillator

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2007
Continuous frequency tuning by control of the magnetic field of a transformer - capacitor tank, in a selective oscillator, is explored in this work. A quadrature generator is built connecting two identical transformer - capacitor oscillator cells in a feedback loop.

A quadrature RC-oscillator with capacitive coupling

Integration, 2016
In this paper the capacitive coupling in quadrature RC-oscillators is investigated. The capacitive coupling has the advantages of being noiseless with a small area penalty and without increasing the power dissipation. The results show that a phase error below 1?

Phase noise and accuracy in quadrature oscillators

2004 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37512), 2004
This paper proposes a complete analysis of quadrature-coupled LC oscillators. These oscillators operate off-resonance and for this reason, their phase noise worsens at increasing coupling strength. Since the coupling transistors raise the total power consumption, the noise-power product degrades further with respect to a stand-alone oscillator.

A quadrature relaxation oscillator-mixer in CMOS

Proceedings of the 2003 International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003. ISCAS '03., 2003
This paper describes the design of a quadrature cross-coupled oscillator circuit integrated which also realizes the mixer function in a phase lock loop (PLL). This should be able to provide a very accurate phase relation (

On transconductance-C quadrature oscillators

International Journal of Electronics, 1997
Two circuits of Electronically Tunable Quadrature Oscillators (ETQOs) are given, which only use operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) and capacitors. In these circuits, a wide range of linear ƒo-tunability is present with bias voltage/current control of the OTAs.

DDCCTA-based quadrature oscillator

2013 Eleventh International Conference on ICT and Knowledge Engineering, 2013
This paper presents a voltage-mode quadrature oscillator employing a differential difference current conveyor transconductance amplifier and all-grounded passive devices. The use of grounded passive devices makes the proposed circuit ideal for integrated circuit implementation.

CONTINUATION ANALYSIS OF A PHASE/QUADRATURE ELECTRONIC OSCILLATOR

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2010
An RF phase-quadrature oscillator is analyzed. The designer "ensured" the phase-quadrature working condition through a suitable cross-coupled electrical connection between the two parts composing the complete oscillator. Through a detailed analysis of the dynamics of this oscillator, we show that device mismatch can lead to an unexpected stable ...
