Quadrature oscillators using CCIIs
International Journal of Electronics, 2005Three third-order quadrature oscillators are proposed. Outputs of two sinusoids with 90° phase difference are available in each quadrature oscillator circuit. The oscillation condition and oscillation frequency of each proposed quadrature oscillator are orthogonal controllable. All proposed circuits employ only grounded capacitors.

A quadrature oscillator for LTE/LTE-A standards with an improved quadrature-mode stability
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2015This paper introduces a quadrature oscillator for LTE/LTE-A standards with an improved quadrature mode stability using transformers. In Inductor-based (L-based) quadrature voltage controlled oscillators (QVCO), there exist two stable quadrature modes. When a transformer is used in place of an inductor in a QVCO, it is shown that the selected quadrature

Exponentially tunable voltage controlled quadrature oscillator
2017 40th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP), 2017This paper deals with appropriate method of tunability extension in quadrature oscillators. Exponential dependence of frequency of oscillations on DC control voltage is created in lossless integrators by utilization of two exponentially controlled variable gain amplifiers and diamond transistors.

A Familiy of SiGe Quadrature Oscillators for Microwave Applications
2005 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2005A family of quadrature oscillators for operation in the 14-26 GHz range has been designed in a 0.25 /spl mu/m SiGe BICMOS technology with an f/sub t/ of 47 GHz. These oscillators employ a transmission line tank, an emitter degenerated cross-coupled pair, and SiGe HBT or CMOS 50 /spl Omega/ buffers.

A 5.8-GHz Quadrature Cross-Coupled Oscillator
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2003This paper describes an implementation of a quadrature cross-coupled relaxation oscillator to be used in an OFDM RF frontend transceiver. A prototype of the oscillator was realized in a Si-Ge BiCMOS technology, and an oscillator frequency of 5.8 GHz was obtained, which is 1/6 of the maximum f/sub T/ of the bipolar transistors.

CMOS digitally programmable quadrature oscillators
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 2008AbstractCMOS digitally programmable quadrature oscillators based on digitally controlled current followers and voltage followers are proposed. The proposed designs provide the advantage of programmability similar to the operational transconductance amplifier‐based oscillators while offering improved linearity.

A low-voltage quadrature log-domain oscillator
9th International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2003A new quadrature oscillator is proposed in bipolar technology. It exploits the exponential nature of bipolar transistors and thus it is suitable for low distortion operation at low supply voltage. The resulting circuits are very simple in structure and easy to design.

Analysis and Design of Quadrature Oscillators
2008The following are some features of Analysis and Design of Quadrature Oscillators make it different from the existing literature on electronic oscillators: (1) focus on quadrature oscillators with accurate quadrature and low phase-noise, required by modern communication systems; (2) a detailed comparative study of quadrature LC and RC oscillators ...

A 44 GHz Quadrature Traveling Wave Oscillator
2013 26th International Conference on VLSI Design and 2013 12th International Conference on Embedded Systems, 2013This paper presents a technique for quadrature phase generation in an LC oscillator by sharing a single turn inductor between a pair of oscillators. This special structure of the inductor cancels the magnetic flux within the loop, and thereby allows placement of other components beneath it.

Quadrature Delay-Locked Oscillator
CLEO 2025A voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) is stabilized using optical delay lines, improving the VCO temperature stability by more than a factor of three. A four-tap delay line provides quadrature optical signals suitable for on-chip clocking applications.
