Numerical Integration in S-PLUS or R: A Survey
This paper reviews current quadrature methods for approximate calculation of integrals within S-Plus or R. Starting with the general framework, Gaussian quadrature will be discussed first, followed by adaptive rules and Monte Carlo methods.

A Compact FEM Implementation for Parabolic Integro-Differential Equations in 2D
Although two-dimensional (2D) parabolic integro-differential equations (PIDEs) arise in many physical contexts, there is no generally available software that is able to solve them numerically.

We applied quantitative MRI of the lower limb and automated home‐cage phenotyping to a mouse model of calpainopathy to detect early disease changes. At 15 months, calpain 3‐deficient mice showed increased water T2 values correlating with immune cell infiltration in the soleus and gastrocnemius muscles, while assessment of motor activity revealed only ...

Solving system of integro differential equations using discrete adomian decomposition method
In this paper, we propose a new numerical method for solving system of integro-differential equations featuring Volterra and Fredholm integrals. The proposed method depends on the successful application of the Discrete Adomian Decomposition Method (DADM)

A Main Class of Integral Inequalities with Applications
In this paper, we define some integral transforms and obtain suitable bounds for them in order to introduce a main class of integral inequalities including Ostrowski and Ostrowski-Gr¨uss inequalities and various kinds of new integral inequalities.

Active reactance in electro‐thermal memristors emerges intrinsically from rapid thermal switching of device resistance, linking current‐controlled and voltage‐controlled negative differential resistance to neuronal spiking dynamics. Opposing temperature coefficients of resistance give rise to active inductive or capacitive responses, enabling tunable ...

A numerical integration-based Kalman filter for moderately nonlinear systems
This paper introduces a computationally efficient data assimilation scheme based on Gaussian quadrature filtering that potentially outperforms current methods in data assimilation for moderately nonlinear systems.

On a Weighted Generalization of Iyengar Type Inequalities Involving Bounded First Derivative
Inequalities are obtained for weighted integrals in terms of bounds involving the first derivative of the function. Quadrature rules are obtained and the classical Iyengar inequality for the trapezoidal rule is recaptured as a special case when the ...

Abstract A streamlined characterization framework (WSPLK) is presented for modelling complex reservoir fluids using cubic equations of state. The key methodological contribution is the introduction of a single global parameter ε directly into Pedersen's boiling‐point correlation, restoring pure‐component calibration and eliminating the need for ...

Governance Drivers of Fossil Fuel Divestment: Evidence From Global Banks
ABSTRACT Climate change poses increasing transition risks for the banking sector, as financial institutions remain exposed to fossil fuel activities despite growing sustainability commitments. This study examines whether corporate governance influences banks' decisions to adopt fossil fuel divestment policies.
