A quadrature network for generating vestigial-sideband signals
Proceedings of the IEE Part B: Electronic and Communication Engineering, 1960The paper describes a method of generating approximately a quadrature signal from a given signal using a linear network comprising a tapped delay line. It is shown that a vestigial-sideband signal free from phase distortion can be produced by this means.

Four-stage ring oscillator for quadrature signal generation
2008 International Conference on Signals and Electronic Systems, 2008Quadrature oscillators are effective for clock recovery circuits, complex signal processing, etc. In this report, two new quadrature oscillator circuits based on tetrahedral oscillators are proposed. The proposed quadrature oscillators are simulated and tested by the breadboard circuit in order to verify their electrical performances.

No.99CH36293), 2003A study of digital signal processing techniques for generating signal quadrature in synthetic aperture radiometers with difference equations derived from digital systems using finite impulse response (FIR) filters is presented. An Open-Loop Half-Quadrature Hybrid for Multiphase Signals Generation
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 2012In this paper, a passive half-quadrature hybrid (HQH) is presented for multiphase signal generation at radio frequencies.
