Stability of quadric bundles [PDF]
Let $(E, )$ be decorated vector bundle of type $(a,b,c,N)$ on a smooth projective curve $X$. There is a suitable semistability condition for such objects which has to be checked for any weighted filtration of $E$. We prove, at least when $a=2$, that it is enough to consider filtrations of length less or equal than two.

Survey on differential estimators for 3d point clouds
Abstract Recent advancements in 3D scanning technologies, including LiDAR and photogrammetry, have enabled the precise digital replication of real‐world objects. These methods are widely used in fields such as GIS, robotics, and cultural heritage. However, the point clouds generated by such scans are often noisy and unstructured, posing challenges for ...

This study proposes an analytical formulation in complex coordinates to synthesise three‐dimensional single‐shell dielectric lens surfaces. An exact formulation based on geometrical optics is developed, and the synthesis problem is modelled as a non ...

Rational points on even‐dimensional Fermat cubics
Abstract We show that even‐dimensional Fermat cubic hypersurfaces are rational over any field of characteristic not equal to three, by constructing explicit rational parameterizations with polynomials of low degree. As a byproduct of our rationality constructions, we obtain estimates for the number of their rational points over a number field and ...

A Comparative Study of iDNA and airDNA for Biodiversity Assessments in Tropical Forest Fragments
Comparing invertebrate‐derived DNA and airborne eDNA across fragmented tropical forests, we show that iDNA recovers higher vertebrate richness from fewer samples, while airDNA offers greater field reliability. Together, both methods capture functional diversity gradients, supporting a combined approach for agroforestry biodiversity monitoring ...

Application of an RBF blending interpolation method to problems with shocks
Radial basis functions (RBF) have become an area of research in recent years, especially in the use of solving partial differential equations (PDE). Radial basis functions have an impressive capability in interpolating scattered data, even for data with

BIHARMONIC CURVES INTO QUADRICS [PDF]
AbstractWe develop an essentially algebraic method to study biharmonic curves into an implicit surface. Although our method is rather general, it is especially suitable to study curves in surfaces defined by a polynomial equation: In particular, we use it to give a complete classification of biharmonic curves in real quadrics of the three-dimensional ...

GraphNeuralCloth: A Graph‐Neural‐Network‐Based Framework for Non‐Skinning Cloth Simulation
This study presents a cloth motion capture system and a point‐cloud‐to‐mesh processing method to support the prediction of real‐world fabric deformation. GraphNeuralCloth, a graph neural‐network (GNN)‐based framework is also proposed to estimate the cloth morphology change in real time.

A Note on Rational Lagrange Polynomials for CAGD Applications and Isogeometric Analysis
While the established theory of computer-aided geometric design (CAGD) suggests that rational Bernstein–Bézier polynomials associated with control points can be used to accurately represent conics and quadrics, this paper shows that the same goal can be ...

Graph potentials and topological quantum field theories
Abstract We introduce a new functional equation in birational geometry, whose solutions can be used to construct two‐dimensional topological quantum field theories (2d TQFTs), infinite‐dimensional in many interesting examples. The solutions of the equation give rise to a hierarchy of graph potentials, which, in the simplest setup, are Laurent ...
